The second edition of The Combined books one and two of The Seven Spell Saga

The Combined books one and two of The Seven Spell Saga Spellbinding and The Spell Breaker
There is now this second abridged and re-edited book available on Amazon US and UK.
The book also has excerpts and reviews from later books as a bonus and whilst it retails at $3.99 US it is available to borrow on the Amazon Prime borrower list.

The cover is made up from several photographs and the dove background was a photo I took earlier this year at Raglan Castle.
The holly is from an old photo taken at Jervaulx Abbey a few years ago and the statue is a mystery, well since it represents the enigmatic and immortal beautiful knight Tristan Dearing it would be.

Excerpt from Chapter Four
Tristan started to kiss me, he kissed me over and over until I felt I couldn’t keep my hands from him and I pulled his T-shirt up to be able to run my hands along his bare skin. He made a little sound, and we started to undress each other. He told me he had missed me so much when I was away that he thought his heart would break and that he wanted me now more than he could think about let alone say.
“Tell me you forgive me”, he asked.
I stopped kissing his neck and shoulder to do that and I said it a couple of times as I kissed him. It was hard not to just keep going and make love to him but I had to ask him to forgive me too. I thought he needed to realize he wasn’t the total bad guy in what had happened. We kissed each other and whispered this stuff until without knowing how it happened the intensity that sometimes develops between us overwhelmed me and I had to make love to him.
He held me close after and talked about the task we were to do for Aristide and how he genuinely didn’t expect the spell to work. It seemed so radical an expectation that he could be the catalyst for a new time travel portal simply by standing in the waterfall pool. I smiled at him, it seemed perfectly possible to me, he was very special, and his connection to the waterfall was strong.
“Tristan I think it will work but my doubts come from if he can bend it away to a different time, you know, I think we may end up in 1190 again and maybe I will take some toothpaste after all”. I smiled again knowing I already had some in my bag, and seeing his serious expression, I kissed him. He was so lovely; his eyes seemed very blue in my pale table lamplight.
“Maybe that will happen and we will have to hang out for the seven hours in the forest, it will be cold there now too”, he raised his eyebrows slightly to indicate how unpleasant that might be.
I kissed him again because Tristan in bed with you is just magnetic. We didn’t go to sleep until it was nearly light and then we must have just fallen asleep as we cuddled each other.
It was about eleven thirty when we woke up and started grinning at each other about how late it was. It was good to be close to Tristan again, and I held his face in my hands and told him, “Tristan, I love you and I need you in my life, and I will never give up on that again, so expect a fight next time not a withdrawal. Well if there is a next time”.
“There will not be a next time Chloe. It was foolish of me to assume you and Oliver were, well, what I said. He never admitted anything and that’s a good thing because it was unfair of me to ask”.
He kissed me and I kissed him but at the same time a little thought came into my head, he had decided Oliver and I were not making love, so perhaps it still mattered to him.
Then he continued with, “Chloe making love with you is always special but last night, well, it was completely extraordinary. You put all your feelings in my head and it was like a sensation avalanche. I have to tell you because you may feel weird about it and it seems wrong not to tell you, but I hope you don’t feel weird, because it echoed how I was feeling and it was absolutely the best thing I have ever felt”. He looked questioningly at me, a gentle caring look that stopped me from freaking out. I didn’t know I had done that and I felt weird just as Tristan had thought I might.
“Tristan that is odd, it seems like an invasion of your mind, did you hear words or what?” I asked because although I didn’t remember thinking words I knew how I felt when I was with Tristan was very passionate.
He grinned and then kissed me, and said softly, “Not words, feelings, like bursts of sensation, don’t stop doing it; it’s the best thing I have ever felt. It’s unbelievably sexy”.
I thought for a few seconds because wow, and then I replied, “Tristan, I seem to have done it unconsciously so I probably can’t stop, tell me if it does become a problem”.
Tristan laughed and hugged me, “I will, but I can’t imagine it becoming a problem. In fact I think it might become addictive, I feel a craving for it now”. He kissed me again but I sat up quickly.
“Tristan we have to get up, come on I will take you home, look its past twelve”.

Chloe's song from The Sealed Door; Oliver writes Chloe a song with Will's help . Here is the song and a preview of the next song that Oliver writes for Chloe.

In The Sealed Door, book four of The Seven Spell Saga, Oliver writes Chloe a song, he has Will and Steven's help with the melody but the words are what he feels about Chloe.
Oliver wrote another song that has not been published in this book.
I thought it would interest readers who have already bought The Sealed Door and loved it, to read the other song that Oliver wrote for Chloe.
The original song is called Chloe's Song and the band that helps with the melody and plays the song is Will Radford's band. Steven, Chloe's younger brother plays in the band, he is a talented musician, and Will is an excellent singer. Will is tall and willowy he could have been a model but he loves music. He falls in love with Liz Dearing and arranges a whole set of music just to tell her he loves her, and his band plays the set at a party. So he is the perfect musician to help Oliver write the song for Chloe.

This excerpt from The Sealed Door is Chloe describing the song and hearing the words.
The song sort of echoed a little, the words simple but the tune so lovely I listened and watched Laura and Corbett on the dance floor. They dance so close usually but to this tune they were glued together, it was almost indecent and yet they made me smile.
“I wanted you to know that it won’t be me who lets you go.
I’ll be the one to stay, I’ll never walk away, I’ll never let you go
I’ll never let you go, no matter what you do it will always be you in my heart
I’ll fight to get you back if you turn away, I’ll fight and not let go, I can’t begin to tell you how much you mean to me
It’s not easy to use ordinary words, just know I’ll never let you go and if you leave and we part you will still be in my heart
There’s no way I’ll let you go. I’ll never let you go; I’ll do anything you ask except leave you
And if you decide one day that you need to walk away, then my heart will rip in two and one half will go with you, because some part of me must stay with you, you know I’ll never leave you.
I love you dearly, my heart belongs to you clearly”
The little chorus echoed under the instrumental break in the song,
“Lose you, lost in you, love you, lose you lose myself, lost without you”
It was sad and happy at the same time. I was impressed with the melody and thought the words were really sweet. Oliver had been silent and then he whispered in my ear, “Is it too much? I wrote it with Will for you Chloe, its how I feel”. I turned my head to be face to face with him, “You wrote it with Will? It’s lovely, lovely”, I kissed him quickly and he smiled and sighed. “I wrote the words, Will the melody and Steven too helped he got the little tune for the chorus to go with the little echo words, I hoped you would like it and not think it too much”.
I had hold of one of his hands and slipped my other arm around him, “Oliver it’s the loveliest thing, thank you so much”.

Something happens in The Sealed Door and without putting up a spoiler for this book and the next, the words of Oliver's new song for Chloe, lays bare his feelings during that time.

For "Chloe if only she will listen"

If you answered the phone, you would know
How I miss you
All my messages fall into silence
The phone doesn't ring but
The worst is I miss you
And it gets worse every day
And will not go away
Even though I try to do other things
Try to change my thoughts and the places I go
It's all just a lie
I only just get by
I miss you
When I talk to my friends the conversation just ends
As that's all I can say, that I miss you
I see the looks on their faces
They just walk away
They are tired of me and the words  that I say
It gets worse every day
It just can't go away, I miss you

This song is finished and given to Chloe in book five, not yet available.
